If you already have a trusted scholar driver who is either on the platform or not yet registered:

  1. On the Search screen, switch to the Phone Number search mode (or tap Invite Driver on your dashboard).
  2. Enter the driver's South African mobile number (e.g. 082 123 4567).
  3. If the driver is already registered on Scholar Rides, their profile and service routes appear immediately.
  4. If the driver is not yet on Scholar Rides, the app opens the Invite Driver dialog:
  5. Enter the driver's name and contact number.
  6. Select the child and school this driver transports.
  7. Tap Send Invitation.
  8. The driver receives an SMS invitation with a link to download the Scholar Rides Driver App. Once they register and verify their vehicle documents, your transport request links seamlessly.
